To define MVP scope, decide which part of the product you believe solves the customer's problem, then include only the features needed to test that belief. We do this in one day, with one to three of your decision makers and our product manager or lead developer. The most common mistake is trying to build the whole product; the MVP's job is to test whether the idea works.

Your decision maker, or a small group of them, plus our product manager or the developer leading the build. Scoping fits in one day when both sides are available and no more than two or three people are deciding. When more people need to agree, it becomes harder to finish in a day and the timeline can slip.
Security is not cut: proper authentication and rate limiting stay in, especially for AI products where each model call costs money.
A new requirement can replace a planned feature of similar size if that keeps the launch date. Otherwise it goes on the post-launch list, or is quoted separately.
The output of Day 1.
Scope is Day 1 of the 14-day build.
Day 1
Your one to three decision makers sit with our product manager or lead developer. We decide which part of the product will test your idea and write down what waits for later.
Days 2–3
We study your top two or three competitors, agree the pages and screens, finalise the user journey, and use AI to create a demo from your brand guidelines.
Days 4–9
Our developer builds the core features, sign-in, database, and the other parts the product needs, using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex.
Day 10
We put the product on a server so people can use it online. A simple MVP does not need a CDN, queues, or microservices.
Days 11–14
AI writes the unit tests; people test the full user journey and we watch the backend. One or two rounds of changes, then launch and handover.

Built an iOS and Android AI journaling app with React Native and Expo from the client's designs. Both stores approved it on the first attempt, and it was live 14 days after kickoff.

Only the ones needed to test whether the product solves the problem. In screens, that is usually 5 to 10 in the product and 3 to 5 pages explaining it.

A change can replace a planned feature of similar size. If it cannot, it moves to the post-launch list or is quoted separately.
One day, if the right people are available. More decision makers can stretch it.
