MVP Development Services: Launch in 2 Weeks

Hire Squirrel Technologies to build your minimum viable product in 2 weeks. We build only the features needed to test whether your idea solves a real customer's problem, launch it so people can use it, and hand over the code and IP. A typical MVP costs $3,999 to $8,999. The 2 weeks run from the Day 1 scope meeting to launch; App Store approval, research, and model training can take longer.

Who it's for

Who hires us to build an MVP

Founders with an idea to test

You know the problem and the customer. You need a working first version in front of real users, not a full product.

Teams testing a new product inside a company

You want to try a new workflow or product without waiting on a long internal build.

Businesses turning manual work into software

You run a process on spreadsheets or by hand and want to see whether a simple tool can replace it.

Agencies that need engineering capacity

You have a client project and need a team to build it under your brand.

Scope

What fits in 2 weeks, and what does not

An MVP typically has 3 to 5 pages that explain the product and 5 to 10 screens in the product itself.

Built in the 2 weeks

  • ✓The core features that test your idea
  • ✓Sign-in, user accounts, and a database
  • ✓Proper authentication and rate limiting
  • ✓Payments, if the MVP needs to test whether people will pay
  • ✓Deployment so real users can use it
  • ✓Basic error monitoring

Left out of a simple MVP

  • •Microservice architecture or other complicated technical systems
  • •Kafka, queues, or a CDN
  • •A detailed or custom logging setup
  • •Building every component from scratch when a pre-built component will do
  • •Features that are not needed to test the idea; they go on a post-launch list

When we do not promise 2 weeks

  • •Products that need approval from another party, such as the Apple App Store, because the timing depends on someone else.
  • •Research-based products, where the research still needs to be done before the product can be built.
  • •Products that need data and machine learning model training. If the data is ready a 2-week build is sometimes possible, but in many cases the work takes longer.

App Store and Google Play review is outside our control, so we never promise store approval within the 2 weeks. We build and submit inside the sprint; approval timing depends on Apple and Google.

Process

The 2-Week Build

Fourteen days from the scope meeting to a launched MVP, following the process in our article on building an MVP in two weeks.

  1. 01

    Day 1

    Agree the scope

Your one to three decision makers sit with our product manager or lead developer. We decide which part of the product will test your idea and write down what waits for later.

An agreed scope and feature list.

  2. 02

    Days 2–3

    Design the journey

We study your top two or three competitors, agree the pages and screens, finalise the user journey, and use AI to create a demo from your brand guidelines.

    Approved wireframes and user journey.

  3. 03

    Days 4–9

    Build the working MVP

Our developer builds the core features, sign-in, database, and the other parts the product needs, using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex.

A working MVP on a test link.

  4. 04

    Day 10

    Deploy

We put the product on a server so people can use it online. A simple MVP does not need a CDN, queues, or microservices.

    The MVP live and reachable.

  5. 05

    Days 11–14

    Test, fix, and launch

AI writes the unit tests; people test the full user journey and we watch the backend. One or two rounds of changes, then launch and handover.

A launched MVP, its code, and the handover.

Pricing

What an MVP costs

A typical 2-week MVP is priced between $3,999 and $8,999. The final price depends on what is being built: complex features such as escrow accounts or WebRTC calling cost more, and so does building for more than one platform (for example a mobile app, a desktop app, and a website).

You can choose a fixed price, where we carry the risk of things going wrong, such as repeated App Store rejections, or hourly billing against an estimate agreed before the project starts. Hosting, AI usage, and third-party services are paid directly to those providers.

Pricing tiers

What each MVP tier includes

Prices in USD. Your core feature is the main factor in the price; complex features, such as escrow accounts, WebRTC calling, or building for several platforms at once, are quoted separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

We build only the features needed to test the idea, keep Day 1 decisions to one to three people, use pre-built components where they work, and our developers use AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex. With those tools one developer can build a focused MVP in about a week.
