Ganesh in courtroom, literally !!

Hi,

Coming from a small city where courts and law are intimidating, and me being an introvert added fuel to it. In the beginning, I was even scared to sign an NDA or even a boilerplate contract.

But recently, I thought, instead of avoiding it, let's face it head-on. And me being a devotee of knowledge, I decided to start learning law from business pov.

This is issue #GG3 of The Ganesh Project.

I started with the basics, learned basic legal terms, and learned how legal proceedings actually take place. Then I learned the Indian Contract Act completely. Overall, it took me around 30 hours.

Then I had a lot of doubts, so I hired a professional advocate on Vakilsearch and picked their brain for a few hours.

Finally, I decided to go to a courtroom to actually watch how proceedings take place. But unfortunately, since I am not a law student nor related to the legal profession in any way, they didn't let me in. Sad, but can't help it.

By this, I don't mean I know a lot about law now, but I've definitely broken the ice.

Now my goal is to learn company law, patents, copyrights, and anything else that a founder building a tech company should know.

On a side note, I applied for NSRCEL incubation. Hoping for the best.
