The Ganesh Project #GG4

the Youtube arc

Hi,

Last release, #GG3, was a disaster.

I used {name} as the placeholder, but it didn’t fill. So every email went out with {name} directly in the greeting. I had written it on Sunday night and scheduled it for Monday morning, so when I woke up, all the emails had already been sent. There was a disaster waiting for me.

Unfortunately, one person unsubscribed because of this. It hurt a lot, a lot. But as they say, words once said and emails once sent can’t be taken back.

But I want to reassure you that this series isn’t AI-generated slop or a sales email. I write it myself and think twice before adding any line.

My goals from this are:

  1. A LOT of guidance
  2. Networking: if you see I’m working on something relevant, you may be able to introduce me to people in your network or point me in the right direction.

This is still a small, handpicked list of 17 people (after 18-1).

This is Issue #GG4 of The Ganesh Project.

Now, coming to this edition...

Here’s the story. I’ve been creating YouTube videos since I was 16. I’ve tried a lot of things: gaming, roasting, comedy, and now AI and tech. Overall, I’ve uploaded more than 400 videos on YouTube.

But I haven’t seen any real growth at all. My highest-viewed video has 30k views on Instagram, but my second-highest hasn’t even crossed 5k.

I’m not saying my luck is bad or that the YouTube algorithm is broken, because if you compare my videos to any top creator’s, the quality difference is clear.

But recently, I’ve upgraded a lot in terms of content, equipment (lights, camera, mic), speaking in front of the camera, editing, etc. So now, my only goal is to create top-quality content and keep improving.

If I compare my videos from six months ago to what I make now, there is significant improvement. But that’s not enough.

So, my ask from you is this: whenever you get a few minutes, please watch the videos below and give me honest, brutal feedback.

It can be anything. From “you’re stupid,” “your content is stupid,” or “you should stop doing this,” to “buy this camera,” “set this camera angle,” “change your talking style,” or “pick better topics.”

I genuinely want the truth.

If you're wondering why you're receiving this email, it's because you're someone whose judgment I respect and whose experience I can learn from. You can read more about The Ganesh Project here: https://www.thesquirrel.tech/the-ganesh-project/gg1

As always, if you'd rather not receive future emails, just reply with "opt out" and I'll remove you immediately.

Thanks,
